Who is Carl Roch?
Any fight involving PBF or Calzaghe would do it for me, I would like to see Calzaghe beat Jones, Pavlik and Tarver then retire but has he got 3 fights left? Possibly, very fit chap!
History would repeat itself if Hatton met PBF again.
I wanna see more of Haye too, still slightly inconvinced although he is obviously very fit and game for a toe 2 toe.

David Haye v Joe Calzaghe
But that aint ever gonna happen.
would be a right hum'dinger though But that aint ever gonna happen.
Joe = 5'11" @ light heavy = 168 - 175lbs
Haye = 6'3" @ cruserweight = <200lbs
(I've seen Joe about in Cardiff and he looks a damn sight taller than 5'11", I'm 6'1" and I thought he was taller.)
Ok just to give a quick run down:
Vitali Klitschko vs David Haye: Complete mismatch and Vitali would take Haye apart in less than 5 rounds so it's fair to say I have no desire to see this fight.
Joe Calzaghe vs Kelly Pavlik: Definatly my favourite out of the bunch. Pavlik is a tough character and a very good boxer with rock hard punches. A few people are saying that Pavliks power would be too much for Calzaghe (after he knocked out an unbeaten Jermaine Taylor and then outpointed him comfortably in the rematch, the same Jermaine Taylor who beat Hopkins twice) but I disagree. Pavlik is the perfect opponent for Calzaghe as he would keep coming forward and getting peppered with Joes full resume of punches resulting in a boxing lesson from the Pride of Wales. I would love this fight to happen!!
Joe Calzaghe v Roy Jones:Another fight I would love to see and which will hopefully be taking place in November. I feel that this fight is a little too late to be honest, especially given that Jones is indeed past his best, however I should also point out that in his prime he refused to fight Calzaghe as it was too high risk for such a small reward (He basically offered Calzaghe the fight for X amount of money, Joe agreed, Jones then proceeded to price himself out of the fight!).
Although Jones is nowhere near his best, this will be a very tough fight for Calzaghe as Jones is still extremely accurate with his punches and very very quick with his hands. I reckon it will be so close that fans will influence the judges to giving the decision to Calzaghe, however I reckon Calzaghe has what it takes to do the job with no help from his fans.
Ricky Hatton v Floyd Mayweather:A complete no go-er for me. Hatton was a warrior in their last belt but unfortunately he didn't have what it takes to beat Mayweather. As annoying as Mayweather is, he really is the real deal guys. I think even if Hatton improves his defense AND has a referee that lets him work the inside he will still find himself in trouble as then the ref did let some inside work go on Mayweather was making light work of Hatton.
Floyd Mayweather v Miguel Cotto:I would like to see this fight actually but I don't think the decision will go the way everybody is expecting. Cotto is a very good fighter and showed superb boxing skills against the skilled Sugar Shane Mosley (who isn't too disimilar to Mayweather) and he has an excellent knock out rating too. I don't think however that this will make a great deal of difference as Mayweather would hit him with lunging jabs and the odd overhand right whilst fighting off the back foot all night. I think it would be a dissapointing lop-sided decision to Mayweather leaving the fans very annoyed...that is unless ofcourse Cotto can find a way to work the inside!
Paul Malignaggi v Ricky Hatton:Well if Cotto ever grows the balls required to sign for the Maligaggi fight then we would be able to judge what the possible outcome would be in this fight. I think it would be a good fight for Hatton to take but I don't think now is the right time...
Timothy Bradley v Ricky Hatton: Bradley seems to be the name everyone is talking about at the moment. Now I don't want to detract from Bradley as a boxer, as I think he is very good, but he beat Witter and now he is a big name? I'm not being funny but Witter has never fought any renowned boxers except for Judah which resulted in his first loss. Bradley clearly has talent but I think all he did was expose Witter as a B level fighter. I would like to see this fight happen if Bradley could add a few more big names to his resume first but at this present moment in time it would be a battle in the centre of the ring until Hatton would finally drop Bradley to the canvus.
Carl Froch v Joe Calzaghe: Carl who? Ok maybe that is abit unfair but he is not in the same league as Calzaghe and to be quite frank Froch looked awful in his last fight. There was no snap in his punches, he looked sluggish and he really looked slow to me...
So in all, my favourite would definatly be the Pavlik fight so as Calzaghe can finally silence the rest of the doubters out there!

It turns out that the Calzaghe vs Jones Jnr match may not go ahead as Jones has apparently outpriced himself already!
Calzaghe has made some noise about wanting to fight Pavlik but he is keeping quiet as Lockett (from the same gym as Calzaghe) is fighting Kelly Pavlik in the coming weeks and it would undermime Lockett if Joe started banging on about the prospect of this fight I think!
We shall see!

personally id like to see pbf vs hatton and pavilik vs calzaghe on the same bill, maybe with haye and enzo mac rematch as well??
The only reason i'd like to see Hatton v Mayweather again, is because I like Hatton, and think he deserves the mahoosive wad of money he'd get from such a 'rematch' (I use rematch in the loosest possible way)Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
