Sucks for anybody brought tickets to see chuck fight in London.

We almost did. Can't see who they are going to headline the card now as Rashid 'Hold them on the ground for three rounds' Evens isn't really a top level draw.

UFC have lost their big name heavyweights (Tim Sylvia & Randy Couture) haven't signed Fedor. most of their other top fighters have fought recently.

Nasty! That's gonna sting.

Sounds like they're lining up Bisping/Leben as a replacement...not quite the same league, but will no doubt go down a storm in London.

Wonder how long Chuck will be out with that?

matt hughes vs thiago alves is the new main event for the UK event
rashad vs james irvin
and in a rather interesting fight bisping will be fighting chris leben.
matt hughes says he has matt serra next no matter what happens in the alves fight. Sounds like quite a good card to me, not exactly a chuck fight though.

Cheers for the update thumbup

I've had my tickets for this for a while now. Disappointed that Chuck wont be there, but still looking forward to a good night, especially seeing 'The Count' in the flesh for the 1st time.

Roll on June 7th...

ps Bisping is now fighting Jason 'Dooms' Day.

Bit late now, but did anybody see this?

Some great fights!

Paul Taylor won (although not shown on TV)
Mike Bisping won, Good gay for England!

Shame for Matt Hughes to lose, the game has moved on from him now.

I saw them on links on mmatko.com, nobody warned me bravo were losing the ufc! Bisping looked really impressive. Im glad matt hughes is getting walloped all the time now, hes always come across as a tosser and I hope serra smashes his face into retirement. Wrestlers are boring anyway, we've got one at my judo club now and all he does is shoot for leg grabs and doesnt try to use any judo. Its too easy to just sprawl out and Im glad that people are now just kneeing them in the face when they try it constantly.

In other news chuck vs rashad is alledgedly scheduled for ufc 88 in atlanta now. Then the bets are that chuck wins and gets his 3rd shot at rampage once jackson beats up forrest.

yes Setanta has UFC now, so my days on Sky are limited now. it was really the only thing that kept me on sky.

Dunno i really liked Matt Hughes, I found Matt Serra Sooooooo annoying in TUF. I'll be on Hughes side for that fight. Respect Hughes or not there is no denying that he is one of the biggest names in the sport and has helped the UFC grow in popularity particularly in the UK. A bit like Tito really, was a UFC poster boy but now the game has moved on.

Last I saw was ufc are lining up GSP Vs Penn & Liddell Vs Anderson Silva. Didn't hear he was back on to fight Rashid, after all Rashid was only brought in as a replacement for Shogun at 85.

Rashid is another boring wrestler fighter who will never be a fan favourite and doubtful he will get a title shot.

dana has gone on record as saying he doesnt like fights across divisions, but has said penn gsp needs to happen. Liddell vs AS wont happen in the short term methinks. Shoguns knee is still a bit iffy and will be for some time, cruciates are nasty. My tip is Soko vs shogun next, Rashid will lose to chuck, Ill bet my house on it ( disclaimer : maybe £2 and not my actual house )

I do! biggrin It was for a parole violation stemming from a previous DUI offense, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (wiki). It came from a DUI that he didnt serve his full term for before he moved to hawaii. When he realised he couldnt get a visa into the uk to fight Bisping with that handing over him he turned himself in and hoped to get out in time. It didnt work and mike fought and defaeated jason day instead.

I cant wait till bisping hammers him biggrin
