so it looks like berbagod will be leaving us in the summer as his money grabbing agent said he deserves to be playing regular champions league football. where do you think he will go? and do you think we will replace him with?

Ramos will no doubt bring in a few amigos and muchachos. If Didier Dogma does the offski... But then I suppose all will depend on how successful Grant is in his efforts for the treble (league, CL and the sack).

Ideally I'd like to see Bent actually play to his potential. If we have to buy a striker how about Luís Fabiano, good striker but st fighter:

I'd also like to see quite a lot of the current squad go, starting with King. We need to move on and accept he will never be able to play regular first team football and his irregular presents actually destabilises the team. Better to learn to live without him.

If he goes I hope he leaves the premiership. If man utd get him that's the title wrapped up for next 3 years. I think we should sell him and take the money but to a club outside England. Ramos will have his own ideas and he will get rid of the average stuff we have at moment down the Lane. Berb is a great player but we can't be a one man team and it looks like we are at moment.

I agree - sell him abroad - sooner rather than later, while his stock is high.

Frankly, as good as he is, I don't think he's the difference between us winning stuff and not winning stuff.

He won't get a regular place in the Man Utd, Chelsea or Liverpool teams and whilst whe would probably be good for Arsenal as he's a clever player, I think he will have heard about the torrid time Sol had and wouldn't go there - I don't think the board would allow it anyway.

I personally think that his success this season has been as much down to his telepathy with Keano as anything else.
A good striking partnership is much more than the sum of it's parts.

I predict that unless he strikes as good a partnership elsewhere, he'll disappoint.

I hope he stays though. smile

Don't see the appeal of Serie A at the moment... It appears to be rubbish as a league and the football is tedious as well. Theres the top few clubs that appear good (certainly have some very good palyers.. can't doubt that) but then in the top level of Italian competition you have clubs with temporary stadiums, crows of 5000 etc.. Why would any top player go there over Spain/England. Or can people not see past the "history" of the big clubs.

I also thought most top Italian teams had debts that made Leeds' a few years back look like peanuts.

to be honest id rather see him go abroad, i couldnt stand the thought of him playing against us. it will be interesting to hear what he really thinks of spurs when he goes though. i think keano is more important to the team than berba. darren bent should be given a chance too. then theres lennon, i dont think close season is the best time to sell him as hes had a bad season and that could affect the fee we get for him. i think some strong competition could get lennon back to his best. also we need a new goalkeeper as robinson looks like he cracks under pressure which is a shame as i think he is a good goalie. im optemistic about next season though as i think were the strongest team outside of the top 4 and ramos is one of the best managers in europe. i hope king can overcome his knee trouble, however woodgate looks like a top buy and dawson shows great promise. I don't really think he would be that good for Man U, to similar to Rooney.

scratchchin

Hmmm...can't agree with that.

Berba's tall, good in the air and in the Teddy Sheringham mould craft-wise but doesn't run around too much - even when Spurs are in a dog-fight.

Rooney is short, average header of the ball, can dribble a bit (like Tevez) and runs around non-stop like a terrier.

Two entirely different animals in my estimation.

I suppose the nearest comparison at Man Utd would be Saha - but that too is a very poor comparison.

No...Teddy is as close as I can imagine.
