I keep reading in the press that a certain number of Chelsea fans are still booing Avram Grant at matches and chanting 'you don't know what you're doing' etc.

Yet, apart from the Barnsley FA cup match, Chelsea have been pretty solid and are still in a position to win the Premier League and Champions League, something arguably unlikely had Mourinho still been in charge.

What do Chelsea fans really think of Avram Grant?

I'm not a Chelsea fan but from my point of view, he's getting a hard time.

They're in the semi finals of the Champions league (Real Madrid, AC Milan, Arsenal etc etc are not) and it's looking likely that they will come second in the league (hopefully hehe ) only because Man United are currently in awesome form.

I feel a bit sorry for the bloke. In my book, he's had an outstanding season - anyone calling for his head needs a reality check.

There are certain players in that team that are big babys. It's the players that have let Chelsea down this season, not the manager.

The problem Chelsea have is that their bubble burst when the seemingly endless spending money ceased and JM went AWOL. It's a tough world - get on with it, try to support the team and stop whinging.

Chelsea are such a dull team, end of story. I'd hate to see them win anything the way they play. Now Man Utd and Arsenal, and even Liverpool, play much more 'pulsating' stuff.

Well done to Wigan yesterday by the way.

I hope you don't mind me asking but how so? When he left Chelsea were in a no different position.

That said I am a huge Jose fan, great manager and always good for a soundbite, should Rafa go and DIC come in I would love for Jose to come to Anfield.
If ever you are bored head to youtube and look at 10 famous interviews of Jose aswell as the Setanta sports puppet.

Watched the game last night, no atmos at all very odd given what they need to achieve.

Only J Cole and Essien have a desire to push harder, the other 9 (incl Terry) look tired and cant wait to go on holiday.

Out of his depth. We're playing balls-achingly dull football and the fact we get results is down to the quality of the players on the field rather than the manager. Hopefully we'll bring in someone with an established trak record in the summer.

he's a nutcase who gets bailed out by the players on too many occasions

his team selection and substitutions have left pretty much everyone scratching their heads eg Man Utd play Ronaldo, Rooney, etc etc for the first 60 mins to bang in the goals, kill the game and then subs them to keep them relatively fresh. Grant rather has them sat on the bench ready to come on for the last 20...

anyone else notice Drogba sat in the stand with a i-Pod on on Monday night? just shows you how interested he is now that he's leaving at the end of the season

bring back the special one

in response to the OP - 2nd in league, QF of CL??? that maybe the case but we've lost 1 final, lost to Barnsley in the FA (wtf??) and have now lost the PL. I'm not holding out for a CL win.
