Too tempting not to hit him in the head when he was open like that :P

he gave up in the end without khan ever really catching him flush. The third time he just went down to get out of the way but the ref stopped it

I think the other guy was just pushed around by Kahn in the end. Never really made contact with the exception of one or two punches in the sequence before the end. Ref only stopped it because the guy wasnt defending himself. Like the OP said though, not too good to hit a man when he's down. Felt a little bit threatened maybe?

Even if he is throwing punches at you, how can you be scared of a man wearing GLITTERY SHORTS? blah

Ok fight to watch, the other guy put up a decent fight but Khan was worth the win overall.

Tbh, I think he was just caught up in his flow when the guy went down. Haven't seen anything else to suggest he is a bad sport etc, so I'f give him the benefit of the doubt.

Anyone see the other fight on the night that they showed afterwards? It was an English based Mongolian guy VS a guy from Liverpool (cant remmeber names and cant find anything on BBC). The guy from Liverpool got floored 5 times iirc before finally being unable to beat the count. In a way good to see refs not stopping fights straight away but potentially dangerous for the boxer on the receiving end of the beating.

That wasn't dangerous, that guy was a joke. Reminded me of Julius Francis' five knockouts

which guy the mongolian dude or theone from Liverpool?

On the topic of the OP I think Kristjansen didn't want anymore of it after the first flurry punches.

Is it me, or does Khan give you a reason to dislike him every time he fights?
Dropping hands, and Ali shuffling in the first few fights.
Hitting men when they are down.

And finally talking about himself in the third person???

SOD OFF! Be normal - and a gentlemen. We like that...

There's no question he is a very good and gifted fighter but he is nowhere near fighting for a world title yet imo.

what gets me about Khans fights is that,so far, the commetator says well this guy is not known for his punch but has experience etc, when will Khan fight somone who can punch back ?

As far as the fight ,I thought the guy was a good fighter & in the end Khan ran him down ,the guy was'nt hurt or did he seem to be bothered but as ususal Micky Vanz stopped the fight as soon as Khan(Warrens Fighter ) gaets a slight advantage.
I think Khans OK but will get caught out when he does eventually take on a "Live" one.

He though MILES ahead of Fraudly LOL
