Spurs got him for a snip at £16.5m and I feel we should offer them at least this to let us get our hands on him.

After all, we got Carrick for a snip at £17m and I feel that now is the time to raid them once again for someone who is bound to repay any fee we might part with.

Not bad for an eighteen year old (at the time). His seal trick does get him a good shoeing but it's nigh on impossible to get the ball off him without giving away a free kick or a booking.
