Any tips for the National, or the meeting in general?

Not heard anything yet. I do fancy Tony McCoy to win one soon though and Butlers Cabin is a seriously classy horse despite being an 8 year old. Has already won at Aintree in its only race there.

Chelsea Harbour could be a good each way bet

Looking at the trends over the last 10 years, the best horses that fit the majority of them are D'Argent and Comply or Die. If a horst carrying more than 11st 2 can win, it'll be Simon.

got a little on both the top two, and a combo tricast. Fingers crossed! biggrin

Ruby Walsh on Hedgehunter or Sam Thomas on Mr.pointment. Was going to have a serious punt om Mckelvey each way but the price is a bit skinny since the One Show adopted it.

Gotta fancy a horse that can stay wide, and in doing so run the extra half mile, and still finish easily.

Staying out of trouble is key in the national

Had a run in with the police yesterday and the wife gave them what for, she can be a little terrier . When we saw a horse named Comply or die we just fell about and had to back it. Can you believe she said put a grand on it, Mr sensible me said you don't put a grand on a Grand National, its a fun bet for punters like us.Doh.

Anyway stuck a fiver on to win biggrin

So why do they keep on racing after the jockey falls off? Or do you mean cruel for us punters wink

I had a fiver on the winner at 12's and a tenner each way on 4th. If Bewleys Berrry had made a bit more effort I'd have got something from all 3. Still a good day though biggrin
