Just thought Id post this. Yesterday I met one of our old rugby stalwarts at Wakefield RUFC,at the butchers.We soon got talking about our fab tours to South Wales, and the great times we had in the valleys.Ill always remember playing with the A team at Crumlin,Bedwas,The 1st team played at Cross keys and Ebbw vale that year.We stayed at the Park Hotel in Cardiff,I can remember stainless steel buckets full of ale being ordered by various players to feed our games of buzz. the tab was added to the Chairmans room bill. You should have seen his face the following morning when we settled our bills.Fantastic days.
