Fraid best team won today. Mascher stupid to get involved, but really LFC not in it. Kuyt an absolute nightmare, and how he gets a game I don't know. Rooney gave Carra the run around and next season like to see Agger and Skyrtl as our centre backs.
Get shut of Finnan, Hyppia, Rise, Kewell, Benayoun, Pennant and that tt Kuyt. Rant over!

You'd be better off getting shot of the fat Spanish clown, to be honest.

What has he actually achieved? - the Euro win was a fluke, with another man's team.

His own purchasing has been pretty shocking and his tactics regularly fail in domestic competition.

What about poor old Pepe? You won't win anything with all those errors.

Bring back Calamity James ... !

Liverpool were just plain embarrassing after that tit got himself sent off ...

If Rafa had played Torres in every game since the start of the season they may have a few more points. Kuyt worked hard but that's about all he did tbh.

You appear to be blind to the problems.

He throws everything at Europe every year with his bizarre rotation policy, comes up short against domestic sides most weeks, but yet people forgive him for a fluked Champion's League win and sporadic winning runs in the league.

He will never deliver the trophy the club and the fans want more than anything else.

Supporters will continue to ignore the underlying issues and hide behind 18&5.... when the 18 has gone, what will be left? - we won't have long to wait to find out, 'cos the 18 will be gone in around 14 months time!

If you think Carra isn't good enough at centre back then sorry but you havn't got a clue! He's been one of the best and most consistent defenders in the world over the last few years, and he's the last person who should be blamed for a poor performance. Even John Terry, who is hated by Liverpool fans, stated about a month ago that in his opinion Carra has been the best defender in the world for the last 5 years!

Quite agree with you re Carragher for last few years, but this season he has given away 4 pens, plus 2 missed by refs. Lawrenson, one of our best centre halfs, said on BBC that he thought Carra had a bad game. I just think he should not be an automatic choice next season.

Whilst carra is a very good player -he has got away with this season at least 4(Not 2) of the most stonewall 100% penalties of any century- he he keeps blatantly hauling players to the ground it will eventually cost his team dearly- a very lucky boy ------ so far

Rafa is a very good manager imo, you don't win the amount of silverware he has with flukes. Also the win in Istanbul cannot be attributed to Houllier.

However I agree the team does need a clear out over the summer. Rafa does need to get rid of Kuyt, Kewell etc. But I think we should persevere with Benayoun, he showed last year what he could do, and has been an ok sub for us this season.

I reckon Carra is an awesome defender, but do envisage him being rested for some games next year. But anybody writing him off as rubbish needs to look at what he does do for us as well.

This summer I'd be really happy if we got David Villa, Torres and him upfront would be awesome.

Rafa will never take the Premiership seriously.

He hasn't so far and there is no reason to suspect he will next season.

He's entirely motivated by winning the European Cup and is rapidly becoming a joke in the domestic game.

Still, long may it continue, 'cos it means we'll catch and surpass the 18 before Liverpool fans, blinded by a fluked European Cup win, actually realise he's not all he's cracked up to be.....

Lol, fluked Euro win? Well how do you explain the fact that we progressed to the final last year, and that we are well placed to do well again this year?

As for Rafa's motivations, I think he does want the Premiership. He knows what the fans want, and knows that doing so will cement his reputation.

Fergie is a good manager, as is Wenger, and Rafa, and if you can't see that he is then you are the one that is blinded.

I was on the terraces at OT on sunday, funniest moment was when the ManU fans started to sing "rafa must stay", we were comfortably 3-0 by then

TBH liverpool in league are ste compared to Liverpool in CL; also last few years when you arrive at OT Liverpool just dont play, dont know whether players/fans are scared of playing at the home of the enemy but its defo players not playing to their potential. Man City earlier this year gave us a good going over, but how many real chances did Liverpool have? ... 1?

So, if Liverpool get chucked out of CL at the next hurdle what then? personally I think you will beat Arsenal who are just falling apart and then lose to Chelsea.. shame really as people will think thats a success but its not really, besides I rather play you in the final biggrin

Well, where do we start.

Rafa gives up on the EPL before it's even kicked off with his bizarre rotation policy, causing dropped points in a majority of pre-European league games.

2 finals is a reflection of coming up against teams who play their full strength side in every game as they're running for a domestic title - if anything, Sir Alex rests players in European games in order to maintain title challenges.

The first final was only won on penalties, despite being played off the pitch for 80 minutes of normal time and only taken to extra time courtesy of a Gerrard dive.

You're typical of Liverpool fans in that you're blinded by a couple of decent cup runs - but if you're content with that, so be it, but Rafa will *never* win you a Premier League title.

Would be interesting to see what he'd do if Liverpool got knocked out before the Champions League group stages..... that would be his whole season fked before the Premier League had even kicked off.

Gerrard dive? How pathetic. Played off the park for 80 mins? Anyone remember 1999?
