1) Man Utd fans - http://www.invictareds.org.uk/ << just about sums it up.

2) Tottenham fans - Through out history, Tottenham Hotspur football club has never been anything more than a cup team. Why they think they are big enough to get into the top 4, I have no idea. And the fact supporters don't mind their clubs owners admitting to only spending lots of money to get them into the european champions league, so they can then sell the club on for a profit says a lot about tottenham fans tbh.

3) Aston Villa fans - Their treatment of Doug Ellis was diabolical. This guy was a great chairman. He knew what level the club was supposed to be at and he ensured they remained an established premiership team without doing a Leeds and putting the club into administration. I really admire that bloke. Villa fans are as deluded as Spurs fans.

4) Liverpool fans - I especially become irritated at itv commentators constantly banging on about the 'kop end.' What is supposed to be the significance of this stand? I personally would not associate a bunch of uneducated scouse dim wits with a legendary boer war battle. It's truly sickening and derogatory to war heroes.

Why do you have to post in every one of my threads? Do you have some kind of tracker on me?

Do you even like football?

Because every thread you initiate seems to be with the sole intention of winding other people up....I think the word that springs to mind is an internet troll....

However, I don't really mind, I find some of the threads amusing... quite interesting to read, as to whether I like football or not, look up the Manchester City thread on this forum.......biggrin

I will follow this thread with interest.......smile

as a villa fan i can say you are totally wrong

doug is both respected and admired
he has done some fantastic work for the club and given alot of his life and indeed his money to it and supported most managers very well
you only have to look at the £89 million john gregory wasted to see that
but once given it cannot be given again
that was the problem there were people with the financial clout required to take the club to the next level something doug had tried and failed at when we had posters saying doug out it wasn't a personal attack on the man it was wanting the fresh blood in
more recently (just before learner took over) doug signed martin o'neil we (in our hundreds) turned up to welcome him (myself and my brother included)
we (my brother and i) wanted to congratulate doug and jumped the barrier my brother said to doug "you still got it aint ya doug" he smiled and shook his hand
and said "of course" he then shook my hand i turned away to notice the crowd had followed us and there was only one steward my brother then went to martin with a few others most of thew crowd wanted to talk to doug and get his autograph.
nearly all the crowd went to doug before going to martin o'neil

more recently at the stadium of light i witnessed a large section of our travelling support welcome doug onto the carpark with a round of applause doug waved and smiled from his rolls royce

i would add the current arrangment by where we have a wealthy owner and doug as president is a good one
i also think doug stops martin o'neil blowing too much of learners money
he was a great chairman and a great bloke who i have met many times and i dont know anybody who thinks otherwise
it was time for change thats all

Look guys, I'm not trying to be a troll. I want to talk about football. Fans are part of football and are talked about often in the media so what is wrong with having an opinion on football fans?

Yes I did and I think standing as an MP to oust a football chairman is wrong.

Surely though your gripe here is with dimwit commentators? There are loads of grounds with a Kop, so to pick on Liverpool fans, for this anywaywink, seems strange

slightly missing the point
was he elected? how many villa fans voted for him?
and did you know he was friend with ray ranson who was leading a consortium to buy the club (in a man u kinda way) which would have loaded the club with debt

ETA well it was 7 years ago and i think that was the mp he was involved with

Luton - I'm a Watford fan.
Tottenham - Because their fans believe their something they are not.
Man Utd - When they came to 'The Vic' last season they spent almost the entire game chant anti England songs.
Newcastle Utd - Their arrogance, all this no one understands our passion bks!
Leeds Utd - Their thugs
Sheffield Utd - Blaming everyone but themselves for their relegation from the Premier League.
