Spurs are playing well and bits of the PSV defence are falling apart. If we can carry on in the 2nd half in the same vein then there should be goals for us.

Biting fingernails here! Could have had a few goals, to be honest, so I'm optimistic.

frown Mind you, they were the first penalties we've had all season... No wonder we're rusty.

Everton were outstanding tonight and should have won the game in the 90. Only got ourselves to blame for not finishing them game off, but such a proud display.

Well done boys Hard Luck

Didn't see the Spurs game but saw the last few pens and im sure they are unlucky to go out.

Shame for English football, but Villa only got a point tonight se we can go for 4th now.

Looking forward to the Derby game now and shall be in attendance. Hope Torres is banned ! ha ha

Well Everton can now fully concentrate on the Premier League. However, if they do get 4th place and into Champs League, lets hope they dont fail spectacularly like they did last time.... after which they were also booted out the UEFA cup soon after. laugh

Why? He stepped up to take a penalty. It's the more attacking players who dodged taking them I'm more disappointed in. IMHO when it comes to pens strikers first, then midfielders and only then should defenders get involved.

He shoudnt have stepped up, i dont care if you are a striker, midfielder, defender or goalkeeper you must hit the target, to put it wide is criminal

If the keeper saves it fairy muff, but to miss like he did what a wa#ker. And yes i am still pi##ed off

I missed Everton subbing Andy Johnson - was he injured? If not I'm curious why they took him off, I would have thought he'd be amongst their best 5 penalty takers.
Feel a bit sorry for Jags after his superb display in defence.

AJ is a bit pants at penalties, to be honest!! Not a great record at all, hence Grav going on. he is a great penalty taker.

Jags has quite possibly been our player of the season. Absolutely solid in defense. Another stunning buy by Moyes.
