So, after his demolition of Enzo Maccarinelli will "the haymaker" go on to wrap up the Heavyweight division as well?

At least he looks like the real McCoy unlike Ordinary Harrison - who I really thought could emulate Lennox Lewis.

C'mon David, sort out those robotic eastern european bores please.

Yes, Enzo was no slouch but it was always going to end in early either way, Haye looked sharp and in shape, Apparently he cuts from 230lbs so going up the weight shouldnt be an issue

I watched Samuel Peter beat Oleg Maskaev and wasn't impressed at all really. Considering Peter is being touted as the new king of the heavyweight division I think Haye could do well. He definitely has a speed advantage and obviously he can punch but it will be interesting to see how he goes against the bigger guys.

He needs to put on a fair bit of weight (muscle) to take on these guys but he can do it - how he can get down to 14st 2lbs is incredible for a guy of his size - I'm a more than a stone heavier than him and about 6in shorter!

With that extra weight he may lose a bit in speed but to be honest, judging by the belt holders out there, he could lose a lot of speed and still trouble them.

Has to hide the (maybe) glass jaw though? ... scratchchin

When you think Tyson at his peak was a little over 15stone, it proves you don't have to be THAT big - he was a one-off though. Smokin' Bert Cooper was Tyson's size but his hand and head speed was nowhere near as quick. Old Valuev is HUGE but so slow, so size isn't everything as I continually tell my missus ...

He'll walk through most of the heavy's without braking sweat. The WBA will make him immediate challenger for their title seeing as he holds the cruiser title so it won't be long. None of this warm up fight lark, he wants to be out the game in 2 years so will just be after the big fights.

There were longer and better fights on the concourse Saturday night. Also a few kicked off in the arena before the main bout which kept everyone amused.

Enzo I'm afraid got seriously owned in there. He can look forward to fighting Herbie Hide who's back at cruiser and fighting Tuesday night on Eurosport. Herbies a bit of a tool and was far too small at heavy but credit for going in with a prime Bowe all those years ago.

Mike Tyson was 5'10 though and also had brilliant handspeed, crushing power in both hands, the most amazing defense and footwork. David Haye by constrast is too open, his left hand is too low and his style is the same since he turned pro (just watch all his previous fights to se what I mean). The only difference is that his confidence is much much higher. Bear in mind that 'big' HW's of Tyson's era were 'average' sized HW's of today. Rarely they weighed over 230lbs. Today they go upto 320lbs (Valuev) or you have out of shape contenders who are gassed after 3 rounds. If a prime 20 year old Mike Tyson was around today, forget his height defeciency, he would wipe the floor with everyone.

Also, this David Haye 'I'm a natural HW' isn't quite true. Look at the size of Haye's head compared to a natural HW like Klitckko or Peter; there's a big difference. His bulk has come from weight lifting and muscling up, not through natural 'big man' genetics. His saving grace though is his handspeed, confidence and power (which comes from his speed IMO). However, if he fought Klitschko he'd get KO'd. If he fought Ibragimov (who has an excellent chin) he'd probably get a UD over him but I wouldn't rule out an Ibragimov KO either. He will get very far thoughm but only because the HW division is completely devoid of talent and magic these days.
