Well done to Leeds for beating Melbourne 11-4 tonight. Tough game, both sides fully committed, some massive hits going in tonight.

When are the Aussies going to win one of these ?

When the season changes so that they are prepared for it in the same way that the Brits are, instead of being required to play, out of season.

Oh yeah, i mean 3/4 games in have got the super league teams in prime form and a massive advantage.

When you win one, you get the right to stage it in your own country, till then i guess we'll just have to listen to the usual Aussie sour grapes, whinging and excuses !!!

Well done again Leeds

Sooo, win a test series against Oz and give something to really whinge about.

I don't think you've won a best of three RL test series since about 1312 and only one cricket series in that time as well.

Don't start on about RU or bog diving because I just don't care

Ha Ha Ha, c'mon, you expect anyone to take you seriously when you go on about sports Australia have been good at recently and don't care about anything your have been crap at. Thats hilarious.

For your education - Rugby Union was create by the English in 1823, Rugby League was created by the English in 1864 and Cricket was created by, yep you guessed it the English in , well tricky one, but 13th century.

Maybe Australia's wins in Rugby League have got to do with the time of year the games are played!!! ha ha ha

Without wishing to join the bun fight...

The reason the English sides win this game is because its played in our season, dead simple. The Oz sides are not only out of season, but they also have to fly round the world to get here! When an Australian side wins, which they will at some point, the situation will reverse and there will be a string of back to back Oz sides winning. These type of games always follow a pattern.

Would have been the 14th actually but who's counting.

My niece's BF played in the Storm side, that was his first 1st grade game with them don't think he even made the bench last season.

Guess they took it pretty seriously.

Storm came over with the best possible squad they had, they came over very early and played two warm up games in the UK. Deff a sign of a side who didn't care !!!

Did you see the game? Both sides went at each other like it was a world cup final and credit to both sides for that.

5 pre-season games, 4 league fixtures - that means that for the Rhinos, it was their 10th fixture since returning to training for the new season. It makes a BIG difference, although I watched the whole game on SKY Sports on Friday night. I wonder how much the wind and rain might have played a factor? Leeds have been playing some good rugby of late, and Melbourne have lost a few players since the end of their season, so I think the best team won.

As for your comment that I have highlighted in bold - WTF are you talking about? I'm an English man, from East Hull, and support Hull KR, a team in the Super League.
