(Firstly if the clown could keep his tripe to himself and not post on this thread it will benefit everyone, including him)

Just like to point out, other teams could come into it, but i can't be bothered finding everyone's fixtures, just the current front runners

So, what are we thinking now after Everton's fine win at City tonight. The big three are pretty much out of sight as usual, especially the top two. Blues 3 points ahead of both Pool and Villa, but Pool have a game in hand.
Everton have to go to Anfield and Arsenal and have Chelsea at home and Villa at home.
Liverpool have to go to United, Arsenal and Spurs but have the Blues at home.
Villa too are away at Arsenal and United and away at the Blues.

Had a quick look through i reckon each team will get the same amount of points from now till the end of the season. Which sees Everton get 4th. (obviously i will be totally and utterly wrong, but hey ho)

Everton Fixtures

Sunderland A
Fulham Sun A

Was a big game today. Jags has turned into a magnificant buy. Along with the Yak, Arteta, Peanuts, ossie, and Cahill we are getting one of the best teams in the prem. Maybe not the best players individually, but as a unit, we can beat anyone. A shout out for Carsley as well. His part to play in the team is often overlooked. He's the reason Cahill, and Ossie can go belting up the pitch. As for 4th, it is wide open, regardless of who plays who.

You sir are a complete and utter idiot. How the hell can you be so far up your own arse as to try and exclude somebody from a thread on PH (and not even have the balls to name him). Do you really think that you have an exclusive audience on here that really cares about your dribble? You are the most rude, arrogant, self centered, hypocritical, egotistic person I have ever had the misfortune to have to put up with in these forums.

Rant over, carry on everybody.

Excellent result for Everton tonight.

Who will finish 4th... hmmm. I still think we will do it but its obviously gonna be close. Villa look like they have an easy run-in in terms of opposition, but I think they will come up short. I know City are now 6 points back but their run-in looks easier than everyone else's so I wouldn't be ruling them out just yet.

You're a bully. The whole point of " Open forums " are for *ALL* to take part in, even those with differing views to yours, or can't you tolerate other views ?

From where I'm sitting you are the one who seems to be getting off on the arguments with personal attacks. Try chilling smile

Trust me i won't be responding to the rubbish anymore. I know who's opinion's are worth reading and there are only a couple of posters who know nothing of what they speak. So as i say, i won't be reading or responding to those posters.

An ignore feature on the site would be welcomed however !!!

Back on topic. Aston Villa have a real advantage if Everton and Liverpool both progress in Europe. I think Everton could start to struggle in the league if they were to advance to the latter stages of the UEFA cup. Haven't got a very big squad.

Got a feeling that Everton may decide too concentrate on the uefa cup in the long run, we will have some back to back games coming up in europe and the premiership, just feel we may not win enough of the big games in the league, but go on to the final in Manchester , would not be too dissapionted if we did not not finnish in the top four ,but won uefa cup, thats not saying they will not be giving it a good go

Concise argument, well put forward, with many valid points... Except for any sort of mental input... Must try harder.
(4th in the prem is hardly st. Last 16 of the UEFA is hardly st. 4th best team in English history is hardly st. best young manager by quite a bit. Some very good, and shrewdly bought talent is hardly st. Let me guess, you're a RS fan. Well, shock horror! Seems you may be a bit scared as there are a few teams catching up with you, and all the cash you've spent. The Big 4 title looks a little shakey to me).

Dunno whether an overachieving Everton are really that good or whether Rafa has cocked up at an underachieving Liverpool(again)
Still go for pool to finish 4th. Just being in top 10 is even a briliant achievement for Everton.

Actually Liverpool are not underachieving... have a look at the points differences between the winning team, and where Liverpool come. That tends to be a good indicator.
2002 - 2003 19 points
2003 - 2004 30 points
2004 - 2005 37 points
2005 - 2006 9 points
2006 - 2007 21 points
2007 - 2008 14 points (assuming they win the game in hand...)

Seems at the moment they are doing what they normally do, apart from the blip in 2005 - 2006. Seems to me that other teams, (Everton, Villa, City), are encroaching on what used to be Liverpools territory. So, we can say that the other teams are improving, while Liverpool is standing still.
