Watching Steffen Freund being interviewed last night on the UEFA coverage reminded me how he soared from Spurs also-ran to cult hero by the time he went.

You are definitely right there Ferg. I never understood it myself. Thought he was awful.
But I dont know much about football.
For years when the crowd screamed "shoot" every time he got the ball- I thought they were booing him and joined in enthusuastically!!!!
