I'm not talking face value....But any extras on top ?

As A B'ham fan, our club charges £1.50 for the admin on an away ticket. They reckon they have to employ someone to stand in the ticket office. However, when I go down there, the person selling the tickets is also selling the home tickets, so surely they haven't "employed" anyone extra.

Also, if you pay by debit or credit card, it's an extra £2.

At work, the bank charges us 26p for debit cards and between 2.6% & 3.3% for credit card transactions, but we're only a little company, and I've no doubt the football club gets better terms from the bank than we do.

I'm all for people making profit, but the "back door" way they go about it really alienates fans.

Does your club do the same ?

I order away tickets over the phone, and pay £1 "admin fee" which covers postage etc. Don't think there's an extra charge if you turn up in person.

Forgot to mention.... The £2 debit card fee is on top the £1.50 Admin fee.

So they charge £3.50 to buy an away ticket smile
