There is tons and tons of info and speculation flying here, there and everywhere. It is quite overwhelming.

I was at the game. It was awful, no other way to describe it.
After being one of the people who has supported Rafa through recent times, I think it could be time for him to go, everything depends on the game on tuesday. I will be sad when he goes, he's done so much for the club, but its just not working at all, and I don't see how he can carry on.

ok perhaps slightly foolhardy words but in my opinion they will never win the premier league with benitez in charge. why scousers back him with such blind faith is truly beyond me! teams have lost the fear of going to anfield as they know they can get a result there now. plus i dont see how fans can be happy with the way they play either...they are dismal to watch!

I dont think they are now, even his most ardent supporters are waivering.Poor team selection,subs & tactics are loosing game after game.
We've a solid core of a quality side (Reina, carra, Agger, Mascherano, Gerrard, Torres) - why he doesnt play all when there fir I dont know, he's making SG look poor and unmotivated at the moment which takes a lot of skill.
All benitez is interested in is the champions league, i jokingly said that i bet they lose to barnsley but then beat inter on wednesday. Probably be true now.

The amount of money Liverpool have spent in the last 15 years on an absolute load of crap is staggering. Remember the new Zidane, Cheyrou? What happened to him. I think thats why Moores decided to quit the club and sell to the Yanks, he got fed up of handing managers vast sums of money and the team getting no better. Torres, Alonso, Gerrard are your only world class players, Babbel, Mascherano and Benayoun are good players- apart from that, i don't rate Liverpool at all. Cup Team at best.
Dare i say it, but Liverpool need to take a leaf out of Everton's book. Get a side together that plays week in week out, a settled side, so the players can strike up partnerships on the field and know what their team mates are likely to do and what their strengths and weakness's are.
Everton players are so comfortable playing with each other so comfortable playing Moyes's system. We need a few more players to truly be a consistent top 5 side IMO

Everton have not lavished hundreds of millions on worthless players over the years and certainly do not harp on about being in 'the big four' when clearly there is no big 4, its 3, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. Certainly not the red shite. In fact Everton have a better claim to being in the'big four' than the red shite do, we are in fact 4th in the league!!
