Having personally met Scott Leitch and Phil O'Donnell I know that they are both very very nice chaps and I would like to give my condolences to all members of the family and also the rest of the team.
Its not a nice feeling when you relise that a player died while doing what he did best only 15 minutes from your home frown

R.I.P Phil

Was going to post this myself earlier on, good shout. By all accounts a really good guy, so sad that this fate should befall him..... RIP Phil.

I have to say though, I find this astounding in the modern game - how can professional sportspeople have undetected problems given the amount of medical interaction in the game nowadays?

Freaky really you do not expect people in the peak of fitness to drop dead.

Very sad loss for his family, Motherwell and the wider world of football, especially at this time of year.

Made all the more heartbreaking because he was so young and seemingly fit.

Does anyone know if a fund has been set up for his family?
