Anybody else totally hooked on this? I've been a Pats fan since the days of Steve Grogan in the 80's. Now they are 1 win away from the first ever "perfect" season in the 16 game format.

And its so exciting...... bounce

I've got a lot of friends in Indy who hate the Pats so I'm trying to get my hands on this T-Shirt. biggrin

The Pats are a bit like Man U. All non fans hate them because they are so good. Especially Hoosier fans. biggrin

Can't see the Colts winning in Foxborough, they couldn't beat the Pats at the RCA after all. And Manning without Harrison is far less effective. I'm more concerned about the Jags. We'll see.

Pats will be like the All Blacks and choke when it gets to the pressure knock out stages. Colts should have beaten the Pats this season already and are deff capable of turning them over. Not sure anyone will want to play the Chargers, they look pretty tasty at the moment and Green Bay, although seriously crap against the Bears, have been decent all season.

I'd love a Pats vs Colts superbowl- Manning vs Brady

They didn't choke in 2002, 2004 and 2005. wink

Historically its the Colts that choke - last season was a blip.

Most people believe the best team in the NFC are the Cowboys and we beat them easily enough. And the Cowboys beat the Packers pretty comfortably. If favre misfires, like he did against the Bears, the Packers suck. I think the Champs will come from the AFC.

I don't rate the cowboys. As soon as they come up against a decent team their weakness's are clear to see.

Winners will def come from the AFC.

Pats @ the Giants 1am tonight. Wonder what the odds are on the Giants to ruin Brady's perfect 'regular season'

Deff a NYG fan night, but will probably be in bed.

Best game I've seen all season. The Giants were magnificent, especially their defence who hassled and harried and gave Brady more issues than anyone else this season. The game was not as close as the scoreline suggests though as the Pats were ahead by 10 with juts 1.04 left on the clock. Great win for the mighty NE though.

First team ever to go 16-0.

Highest number of points scored by a team in a regular season.

Highest number of TD passes in a regular season by a QB (Brady).

Highest number of TD receptions in a regular season by one player (Moss).

Largest points difference in a season.

How good was Eli ???

Was impressed with the way the Pats came back when they were 2 TD'd down, but they still won't get the superbowl and will still choke. Pressure of being undefeated Superbowl champs will be their downfall when it comes down to knock out football.

1972 Dolphins went regular and post season unbeaten and were Superbowl Champions. Pats have got a long way to go before the equal the achievements of that Dolphins team

This season that Pats will be remembered for the 1 game they lost, not the amount they won in a row - heard it hear first

We'll see. The only real stumbling block will be the AFC championship game against the Colts and this time the Pats will have home field advantage. Then Dallas or Green Bay in Arizona? Neither fills me with dread.

I predicted 16-0 when I was in Indy back in October and was roundly derided by the Hoosiers. I'm owed quite a few drinks next time I'm there. wink

19-0 and immortality for Brady & Co.

Colts are going to tough to beat. Especially against the Pats away. Pressure is totally off them due to this amazing run the Pats are on. Pressure is all on Brady and the Pats and home field advantage might add to that pressure.

Cowboys and Green Bay i don't rate that highly, but in a one off knock out game, they are seriously dangerous opponents. (although Owens is out for the Cowboys, not sure how long or though. Massive loss)

Looking forward to tonights games, should be interesting. I was going to say it will be interesting to see how the Chargers go tonight, but then i realise they were playing my team, the Raiders, who will literally lay down and die in front of them and invite the thrashing.

Got a feeling for the Chargers to do well

Counts for nothing. Knock out Football brings totally different pressures and a totally different game. Plus the Chargers were crap at the start of the season, in form now. Will be seeded 3rd for the close season

Washington vs Cowboys is tasty. 10-0 Redskins. Like them to get through

This thread reminded me to book the 4th of Feb off of work so i can recover.

Can't wait for the super bowl, UFC is on the same weekend!

I adopted the cowboys as my team to back whilst i was in the states and i bought a jersey so i'd like to see them in the final but i'm not really that fussed if they do or don't make it.

The coverage now on SKY is great. 6 live games a week in the regular season plus all the play offs. Nick Halling can be a bit irritating but he knows his stuff...

Two pretty good games last night. Going into the 4th the Seahawkes are 13-0 up vs Skins and the game ends 14-35 !!! Crazy end to the game.

Jacksonville vs Steelers - both teams played pretty well, good game. Jags next up for the Pats - hmmm, looking forward to that one. They will deff test the Pats. Im going for a Jags steal !!!!

I didn't stay up for the Jags game but it was a thriller by all accounts. Like I said above I fear the Jags but I still think the Pats will prevail in Foxborough.

Great effort by the Bolts tonight to beat the C***s. Can't see them stopping my guys at Foxborough, especially with the physical beating they took tonight. But we'll see...

Colts gone, leaves only Green Bay who can stop the Pats now IMO.

That play fake from Brady last night was class
