Oh yes! It's not Xmas until you hear the B&H induced roar from Russ Brey and the dulcid Geordie ramblings of Sid Waddell.

Looks like a decent night tonight, Dennis, Lewis, Barney and Klaasen. Expect an upset from one of these matches, here's hoping it's Lewis.

Shock result tonight - Kevin "the artist" Painter beats defending champ Raymond van Barneveld!

Considering that Barney has been suffering with flu and Manley said it was boiling on stage I thought there might be an upset.

Painter's a top player though. Met him at the UK Open a few years back when he got to the QF's, nice bloke.

The interview with Manley after his game last night gave away his over confidence. I still thought he'd win, but his big mouth set himself up for a big fall.

What a week for the lad though, comes in as a qualifier and now faces Taylor or Mardle in the semi.

Well I never! Saw Taylor go 2-0 up very easily and flicked about a bit, just checked and Mardle has it back to 3-3. Another shock on the cards?

Absolutely superb stuff! Looks like I'll have to get the Hawaiian shirt out for tomorrow evening.

Two excellent semis tonight.

Shepherd's style vaguely reminds me of Jocky Wilson.

Bit gutted by the semi's, I'd rather have seen a Painter v Mardle final - but Painter never turned up and I think Mardle was still recovering from his Taylor match.

Nevermind, tomorrow night will be a massive occasion for Kirk. And his interview afterwards he looks so confident that he can beat Part you just never know.

500-1, what a steal.
