Bit of A long shot, I know smile

I'm off to Vegas next Wednesday for A week, but if there's any spare tickets going please please please email me.

I've got A Cerbera sitting around for the week, if someone fancy's doing A deal smile

Apparently, there's 30,000 Brits expected without tickets, so at least I wont be alone. smile

I can't go, wife won't allow me on a jolly to the states spening £000s without the family, it's not fair, and rightly so...I suppose, but tickets are available.

Good luck.

As a side note, I know of 8 people from Lowestoft alone who have tickets to see this fight. Amazing how much interest there is.

I'll have a look on there in a bit.

I'm on a flight with 6 pals & none of us have tickets.

Is there another country in the world where 30,000 ticketless fans would travel half way around the world to watch a boxer on television laugh

Madness

Most certainly not laugh should be great though, you could probably get tickets to the closed circuit feed in the MGM hall?

I don't know where you're staying, but usually in vegas the hotels hold some tickets, and will nearly always have some (usually for the concierge to use) so you might get lucky but will pay through nose for them! (I paid twice face value for show tickets through a concierge service at the bellagio once, god knows what fight tickets will go for!)

I doubt the smaller hotels will have any, but you never know??

Same is true of the Football World Cup last year - I was in Nuremburg with 5 friends and 80,000 ticketless England fans - it was FANTASTIC.

I went to the footy aswell thumbup I stopped in Ulm & went to the game in Stuttgart, can't remember who we played.....Beckham scored a free kick & we won 1-0.

With my Brummie enterprise/pikey, I managed to get in with a one week old ticket from another stadium via the press entrance..... don't ask smile

My pals are on budget, so we're in the Stratosphere. I've stayed there before, plus the Mandalay, and I've tried a suite in the MGM. Mandalay was the best of that bunch.

My pals have asked me the prices of prostitutes & beer, so you can imagine the kind of holiday I've got to look forward to.

There's an "English pub" off the strip, by the university, that shows all the matches, and I gather he'll have the boxing on.

They're hoping to watch the B'ham Newcatle match in there, bit of an all day sesion, then stumble over to the MGM, and see if they can nause the security staff in to letting them in smile

There's an amateur contest on Friday...Britain versus the rest of the world, so I'll probably end up going to that.

I had to compromise on that one.

I'm taking her to the Tutankhamen exhibition in London this weekend, plus the Jolly Hotel down there has a nice Italian restaurant, so that sort of half got me in the good books smile

Have a look on razorgator.com. I bought from there and paid $910 (rounded up to 1k with charges) for $300 tickets. I've heard though that some folks got $600 tickets for the same price. Don't bother with the website as it lets you get to the point of booking and then says to ring them.

There's 3 of us going over on one flight and a few mates from London on another.

For CCTV tickets you can still order for both ballrooms at the MGM from Ticketmaster.com.

Well done that man thumbup

Stratosphere! Quite a walk back from the MGM if you end up getting tickets hehe can't see you getting a taxi afterwards, it'll be carnage.

Don't those pavement ticket flipper people drive you mad? Still your mates will get plenty of adverts for their 'lady' time laugh

These lads definitely haven't got taxi money smile

This is "Vegas on a shoe string". I'm guessing it'll be a "hotel crawl" back from MGM.

Last time I went, with A pal & my Dad, we got stuck in to the "weekend champagne brunch buffet" at the MGM. On the umpteenth refill of the "champagne", the waitress came over and said "how about I just bring you guys the bottles over".......... So that's Saturday & Sunday sorted smile

One of them's been on the "Chicken Ranch" site, and I think he's ordered something already....probably a disease.

I've never been "downtown" and I know that'll be where they end up.

I've been in Italy to watch the old Anglo Italian football matches, and they were A bit rough.

But this must be the only trip I've ever been on, where I'm confident of getting shot or worse.

Well I spoke to the wife, and got the reply "yes fine go for it, I don't suppose your children will mind you missing the santa express trip we've booked for the sunday"

Oops!!!!

They're good at making you feel guilty aren't they laugh

I had to go through the whole "ooh I'd love to go to Vegas with my pals" routine..... although I'd already booked the flights & hotel weeks before smile

Fortunately that Tutankhamen thing along, and she's mad on that kind of stuff/crap, so I had a bit of a bargaining tool. We try & stop in those Jolly hotels in Italy, and she likes that London one, so that just about swung it for me.... That and two pages of shopping/fags she wants bringing back smile

This wont make you feel any better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLDL32W4Xgs

To be fair the Strat isn't too bad, just out the way.

But I take your point about Circus, what A **** hole smile

I didn't even have a drink in that one, plus A lad we met who was stopping there, said bedroom doors were getting kicked off.

Last time, I met four alcoholic Brummies & spent 14 hours in the old "westward Ho" getting the 99cent Heineken's down me. I left at two in the morning, and returned at 10. They were still in there & the cleaners had vacuumed round them smile...... 24 hour session, probably cost them all of £35 laugh

Good man! Well keep an eye out for a big 'Hatton v Mayweather' flag with 'Bennett Tours' across the middle. We're in the gods but as an arena any seat looks half good.

Go halves on a Viper for an afternoon??

Can I ask how much you paid.

I've spotted the £75 tickets for around £500, but they seem to be getting cheaper by the day.

Too true! My Vegas virgin mates haven't seen the Hoover Dam so we did think about hiring a car and driving out.....but then decided against it. Lack of sleep, too many ales, not worth the risk. Booked on a coach for $30, much safer.
