I honestly had higher hopes for Sunderland. However, they really do seem to utterly inept away from home. We've just got a 5th against them. If they carry on like this, then they are a cert to go down, especially with goal difference being an issue. What is it with derby, and others..

ETA.. That'll be 6!

I think the way Everton played today you could of brought any one on , but I do think Sunderland are now going to struggle

Gotta wait a few days until I can watch it on Everton TV. Sounds like one of those utterly dominating games though. Chuffed the Yak, and AJ were on the scoresheet.

Chill out there fella... The manager picks the tactics, and is responisble for the team. Whether you like it or not the manager is responsible.

I was surprised Keane was given the job of managing Sunderland as he has had no real experience of managing. Like many Irishmen, he is very good at telling everybody else what they should be doing - but maybe his managerial inexperience is now being exposed.
I'd like him to do well - but I think he's jumped into management at the deep end.

(Before anybody says anaything, I'm Irish).

Sunderland will go down this season, no problem. Did very well last term but a little bit of the Derby syndrome, probably went up a season too early.

The words school boy defending springs to mind. The sooner Russell Anderson gets fit the better .

Shows the MASSIVE difference in the two leagues IMO.

The premiership is often under estimated. Its jam packed with mega footballing sides. This underlines the point exactly.

He might have been ok in scotland, but from what I've seen of him down here he is pathetic. Unless of course it's tongue in cheek and you support Derby/Wigan/Bimingham etc

Imo, Keane will get them out of trouble,(just) he has loads of time left yet this season, consolidate the next two or three seasons, and end up managing Manchester United within ten years.........

He's had a few injurys to his best players. Once they are fit I expect them to just about stay up. Big game this weekend though....
