Football Manager 2008 - Anyone playing it?

I posted in the computer games section wondering if anyone was playing this but no one responded. I figure they're all playing racing games...

Anyway, is anyone playing it on here, and any tips and player tips?

I've got it, quality game, probably a little harder than 2007 though in my opinion.

The players are more stroppy on this one, so be careful what you say in your team talk and put a lot of emphasis on the coaches you hire.

Depends what league you are playing regarding players, but in the lower leagues there is some real quality on the free transfer market.

I'm playing it much to the dislike of Mrs Tobster !! In my second season @ spurs and am currently top after 10 games.

I've managed to sign a few quality players and offload some of the dross spurs have in real life.

Scarily Reading in my game are really good and were pushing for the 4th champions league spot until I sneaked in on the last day !!
