I actually have the best of both worlds - parents are Scottish but I was born & bred in London.

So I was 'English' in 1966 and 'Scottish' in 1967

And have carried on supporting whichever team has been in the ascendancy ever since!

Which sadly for my ancestors has been England for quite some time.

Oh dear, a glory-boy fairweather fan!! I remember the Jocks on the vessel I worked on blathering on about all you hear from the English is harking back to 1966, (well that would be the media, not the fans), anyway, lo and behold, what do we see when we played Scotland? Signs saying "Remember Bannockburn", etc... Talk about harking back!
