& stop shouting Quite agree though i've been watching them for over 30 years & honestly believe this is the best football we've ever played. In Elano we have a talent we haven't seen since Kinkladze was with us & lets be honest he was surrounded by shite.H

My dad summed it up today;
- City can win 6 out of 6 for the first time in decades
- England can win the rugby world cup back to back
- Lewis can be the first rookie F1 champion ever
Still, City have fulfilled our part of the bargain!
BLUE ARMY!!!!!

ETA: Sorry for jinxing the latter two!

I went to the game on Saturday (first this season) , mainly to have a look at Elano in action. He didn't disappoint; some of his touches were sublime and he knows how to find space even though he's a marked man now. Joel Hart made a couple of outstanding saves and grabbed a lot of crosses to help out the defence. Petrov was a bit disappointing; from what I've seen he is either on fire and scoring or shooting 20 yards wide/over a dozen times a game. Samaras looked good when he came on (Bianchi wasn't even in the squad ????) but had a decent chance that got snubbed out when he ambled in on goal with 40 thousand of us screaming at him to shoot/pass/engage 2nd gear.
It wasn't the best of matches and they put us under the cosh towards the end but a scruffy win is still 3 points. Last year we would have drawn or lost it 0-1 so fair play to Sven and the Blue Army Keep it up City!
