great to see everton progress in europe but dont we make it so hard on ourselves more grey hairs after tonight
one of the worst 1st half performances i've seen in a while. Yakubu is really struggling isn't he? Doesn't seem to want to work back ?Think Anichebe is going to be a class act.
i agree but i did not think that the ukranians could play as well as they did would have been well put out if we had gone out. Our first win in europe for 12 years , Yakubu looks a bit overwieght to me if an alian was watching they would never know he was the muti million pound sighning, on the park eh!
I never saw the game as I was travelling, and for some reason everton TV won't deliver the license. Anyhoohow, seems we were fairly lucky to get through, or on the other hand, we pluckily fought back to win the game. Anichebe is a blinding player. really rate him, and glad we have him available to play. Once Vaughny comes back, I think ole' bugeyes is really going to have a dilemma. I want to give the Yak a decent amount of time to get into the swing of things, so no real problem with him at the moment. I'm more worried about AJ's form. He is still playing really well, running at defences, and creating things for us, bUT, he needs a goal or two to get going. It didn't help having those bloody penalties in the Sheff match.
