Sounds like the doo-doo is hittin the fan in the ODI's in India - the Aussies won of course and wiped the short-lived smiles off the 20-20 world champs but looks like Symo & the qik fella may come to blows before the tour is over.

Should be fun to watch and then some when the Hindians hit Oz for the summer tour.

I guess not too many of you lot are that interested in Aus vs Ind but at least it's shaping up to be more interesting than watching the poms getting their latest smacking, this time at the hands of the Half Back Flankers. No thread going re that tour?? How surprising.

I can't summon up any interest in this latest cricket tour. I'm tired of cricket now - the season appears to have gone on for ever this year. I'm not suprised most countries are fluctating in form with so many tours and championships back to back. When do the players get to recover and practise?

You may be an exception to this rule ewie but me thinks that sadly most English sports fans have similar apathy but I'm sure it would be opposite if the team were winning and consistently 1 or 2 in the world. Fairweatheritis.. seems pretty common over here. Wonder if all the 150,000 seemingly proud, passionate & screaming fans from Trafalgar Sq in 2005 are also just "bored of cricket"? Nobody called it boring or long in the tooth when you were winning a few.

Maybe, Cricket has always been a stop-gap for me when there's no Rugby Union, Athletics or Motorsport on. I'll watch it and bemoan/celebrate the performances but once there's something more itneresting on I'll be elsewhere. Trafalgar Square 2005 - I reckon most of the people there wouldn't be able to name the team at the time anyway hehe

Good tussle going on for game 4 of the Aus vs India ODI's.. India made close to 300 & the Aussies (World champs AND No.1 in the world) are needing a run a ball with lots of time & 7 wickets in hand. Could be a close one.

yeah - good tight finish from the injins when needed.
Punter will be pissed even though still 2-1 up vs a top side away from home.

OK, so we dropped one match to the Injins on Monday in a close one but well & truly restored things to normal today by handing them a 9 wicket belting thanks to a 5 wicket bag from Johno and an agressive reply from Gilly, Hayd & Punter. Injin crowd not happy; tossin all sorts onto the pitch giving Symonds some racial abuse (dunno exactly what they are abusing him about; maybe being born in England??)

Hey Phil.. don't worry about how shite yr cricket team is... join the masses & get on the Rugby boys!

I'm hoping we smack the injins to oblivion tomorrow - nothin like bringing them back to earth on their home turf after they won the 20/20 WC.
