Fantastic result... I was the only one in the pub watching it, had the telly to myself (bearing in mind I was in Leeds while the England game was on). Who would have believed we would be top of the group after 9 games with France and Italy in the same group. Still got to play Italy though!!!

Shame McFadden plays crap for Everton. He has his moments, but far too inconsistent for a long run in the team. Great result though, well done.

i got back from paris last night

outstanding trip, best ever! (except maybe the price of beer in paris)

blazing sunshine, at least 10,000 tartan army under the big pylon, huge march to the ground (with only about 6 cops)
ground half full with scots, most of whom sang (kind of) along to the Marseillaise then went mental when the goal went in
great defending, and an amazing goal
french supporters lined the route out of the ground and applauded us out

21 points, top of the group with the world champions, the runners up, and the 1/4 finalists
unbelievable, we have to go on and win the whole thing now!
