Well guys after seeing the game on Saturday live in Turkey, I have come to the conclusion that MJ has to go. Watching us chuck away a 2 goal lead after dominating Fulham for 70 mins and looking likely that we would score another 3 or 4 goals was criminal.
I have in the past always supported MJ, I beleived that he was our best manger for years, but after the Fulham howlers, I beleive the time has come for him to go.
His substitutions were flawed to say the least, did the Arsenal and Chelsea games not teach him anything? and then to come out and say Keano was having a bad game, him and Berbatov were tearing Fulham's defence to pieces. It has shown before JD does not partner Berbatov up front, it never works well, so why does MJ persist in giving JD a run out. Answer to keep him sweet, f*ck me he would be better off selling him and getting 11/12mill for him. With Bent back in the picture I beleive JD should now be allowed to go. Berbatov cant play with JD, and it is unfair to the player himself. But my biggest gripe was the change in tactics in trying to defend a lead....... at one point JD had the ball in the Fulhams peanalty area, went to pass it back to a Spurs midfielder, and everyone was back in there own half. I mean what was MJ's thinking on this, we were playing against a 3 man defence, that was ready to be taken.... and what are we doing, playing in our own half of the pitch.
When the game was over, I left the pub speechless and extremely angry, we have a talented group of players, the best that I have seen in and very long time, and MJ is doing everything he can to cock it up.
His tactics are naive and poor to say the least, his team selection is justified on a mixture of play safe and we might be lucky, and oooh 'I better play that player, upset the balance of the team, or he might get upset and want to leave. because every one loves me.'

To be honest MJ has lost the plot in my eyes, I am surprised Daniel Levy didnt go in at the end of the game and fire him on the spot. He never accepts any blame and it is always the teams fault, forget the fact that he picks em, sets the tactics.

I am laying odds that we will have a new manager by the time the Arse come to to visit us, the name..... CLIVE ALLEN our reserve team coach..........dont be surprised by that, he guided them to the champoinship last season, and by all accounts has hugely impressed Levy. Dont know if he will stay long term, but my guess that Levy will pencil him in for the short term.....

Grow up. They are scoring goals but the loss of defenders like Ledley King to injury and Robinson going thru a crisis aren't something you can cover easily.

MJ has always done a howler when it comes to subs - nothing new there. I'd suggest the lads get some practice at defending set pieces as that appears to be their main weakness at the moment. Time for MJ to go - nope. We've made the mistake of changing managers too frequently too often. There's some good lads coming through from the reserve side and aside from a leaky defense (it's Spurs for crying out loud) I like our team. If we don't get any silverware this season (or 4th I'll take either or both hehe) then talk about getting rid of Jol - this speculation doesn't help the team.

sorry your arguement that Ledley King is out injured, and that Robinson is out of form does not make sense. The 2 goals scored against us were 2 flukes, Robinson couldnt do anything about them. which also cancels out LK. If we had continued playing like we had for the first 70 mins, 1) the chances are we would had scored again, and 2) Fulham them wouldnt had been allowed to get in that position, to score in the first place.

the fact that this was allowed to happen was down soley to MJ's subs' and team tactics at the end.

Sorry but I appreciate what MJ has done in the past, but he is not the man to take us forward, he has taken us so far, now we need someone to take us to the next level.

I agree yes Jol is probably your best chance of achieveing anything this season - get rid of him and you can kiss goodbye to finishing in the top 6, let alone top 4... Either way, it's touch and go for Jol come the end of the season if he has nothing to show for his efforts (apart from a £40m dent in the bank account)

Looking forward to seeing Spurs get spanked at Shite Hart Lane in a week and a bit.... biglaugh

No, he shouldn't be sacked. He's a great manger, with a great team. They will still finish in the top 4 this season. Fans are so fickle.

LOL at Markonomates!!!

There's an Arsenal Thread in here and no-one's been there since the 24th. Instead they all come and infest Spurs threads in true 'attention whore' style. There are around the same number of people in that thread as in Trashburton Grove on 80 minutes!!

Come on in Gooners, I'm sure the nice Spurs fans will chat with you to make you feel wanted!!!

Defence is the best form of attack isn't it Arthur...? If only your manager took the same advice you might be a half decent team... but he doesn't... and you're shit.... rofl

Surely this admission alone leads you to accept it wont happen every week. Spurs are a good side, they have shown that, hardly flawless but thats to be expected. I dont think sacking a manager will help anybody at this point.

Football is not a sport anymore, its a tv drama series... and as such should be entertaining.. a 3-3 result matches that description. And stop worrying. Everything wil be fine.

Wash your mouth out. Big Sam will take 4th place with the Toon Army rolling into Europe's elite smile.

Seriously though, I've got to say Jol is a top manager. if he can lift their confidence and get them winning again, Spurs will have a good season. if this continues much longer though, then yes it is time to replace him. As an NUFC fan, I can say changing your manager every 2 years isn't really the way to run a club.

Frankly its ridiculous how early everyone was calling for his head. As soon as Chopra had netted that goal it seemed Jol was being ushered towards the door.

Spurs will NOT finish in the top 4. Arsenal will NOT win the league. Newcastle will NOT claim a Champions League spot. Liverpool will NOT finish in any position lower than 2nd.

You heard it here first.

its amazing isnt it, how all these other nondescript team supporters want Jol to stay. I wonder why, Jol makes the same mistakes week in week out, cast your minds back to Chelsea and Arse. 2 goal leads, go defensive end up drawing.......

i am sick to death seeing a talented young progressive team, which I beleive is as good as the Arse get held back by Jols defensive straight jacket tactics. The fulham match says everything you need to know about Jol.

Off the leash spurs absolutely murdered Fulham, the score should had been 1-6, but we go 1-3 up and the reins are pulled in on them, defensive and ill conceived subs seriousley unbalance the team and we end up drawing......

Do I really need to say any more.................

Can't make up your mind eh Arthur? Must be a Spuds trait which affects both fans and manager alike

You can smell over the internet? Think you need a wash.

Oh what?????!!

I do, I have to say, expect fairly poor comebacks from you Marko. You've made that quite clear from previous attempts, but even for you that was woefully lame!!

Go on, think really hard and have another go.

he cant, he is a gooner, it is well known that in that part of North London the immigrants have a limited volcabury, that ties in with a South London sense of longing. They harbour to get back to their old stamping gounds of Woolwich, Greenwich and Bexlry Heath, and that they want to up root the Immigrants stadium and move it to the state of the art souroundings of South Peckham, their ancestral home.

One day lets hope they get their wish..........yesyesyesyes
