Morning all.
First off I'd like to apologise for any random letters missing and stuff in this post. My keyboard is doing strange things. Very strange things...
But back on topic, is anyone else playing Xpert Eleven? It's a free online game, very much like a basic version of Football/Championship Manager. If enough people join we could start a private league.
You have to be active at least once every 3 weeks, though, otherwise you get sacked, so there is some level of commitment required. But I expect that a lot of you are bored at work at least that often, so it should be no problem.
If you decide to join, you won't get a team right away. After you register, you are taken to a Job Centre type thing and they ask you to select a league. You're then put on the waiting list, and after a day or two you get an email telling you which team you've been given. This is often a team in a terrible position. I've been given a team who are bottom by 7 points, and it is almost impossible for me to save them from relegation. In fact, all other results would have to go my way and I would have to score something in the region of 50 goals. Which is not easy, seeing as in the 3 games I have left I play the top 2 teams, and one in fifth (out of an 8 team league). Roll on next season.
You can do transfers and other stuff too. There are forums for questions, and you can release Press Releases. There are various cup competitions as well. All in all it's a good laugh.
Anyone interested?
Cheers,
LG
