The real one !!! bounce

Big Kick off tomorrow and I can't wait. What are peoples thoughts?

I think Man United can keep the title after strengthening. I think Sunderland will do extremely well and I tip them to finish top half, comfortably.

What about Leeds? Can they overturn their 15 point dissadvantage on the pitch?

Can Hereford United go up now they've strengthened the squad?

So many things going on.

Your comments as the season begins... thumbup

Well in the version of this thread I started yesterday (punch)I said...

I think Man Utd to win
Liverpool a distant second with a good close points battle with Chelsea for third.
Spurs fourth.
Gunners fifth.

Sunderland and Reading stay up.

Newcastle to win by a massive margain.

Sunderland to lose every game of the season and beat their own record for terrible performance.

Well. I can dream smile

LOL No worries.

Glassman, would never fully right off the Gunners but I think they may struggle a little this year. They are the sort of team when they get it right they score buckets of goals.

You could be right about that, Lucas... but I hope not. My feeling is that Wenger is doing what he does best and that is, to manage the team. Losing Henry to Barca was a huge blow in terms of what everyone expects of us, but he - and RVP - did not play for much of the season and we still scraped ourselves a fourth place.

I feel we have a good squad and I reckon our secret weapon for this season will be Eboué (and Clichy perhaps). RVP will score plenty too. Correction: RVP will have his coq out all season.

Come on you Gunners!

shout Stand up if you hate Tottenham, stand up...

I honestly think that Arsenal will have a very up and down season without any real consistency.

I think it'll take another season yet before you can make any real attempt at winning the league again.

I think Liverpool can do well this season as long as we get a 1/2 decent start which we haven't the last few seasons.

Whatever happens though I'm really looking forward to loads of footie.

i think the Prem is going to be the closest yet, difficult to predict games this season to many variables. Its great to see teams like Newcastle, ManCity, Sunderland, Blacburn, even Fulham going hammer and tongs in the transfer marketcoupled with the likes of Tottenham and Portsmouth, both also improving squads, I think the season looks very exciting.

Come on you Spurs............

Well erm

<hands in pockets shuffles feet>

I still think Spurs have the quality in their side to bring it back. They are just one of those sides that are difficult and some games can produce results and performances that prove that the sun can shine on a dogs backside some days.
