So if there's all this arse-ache about Tevez going/not going to Man Utd, or more to the point who 'owns' him, how come Liverpool bought Mascherano without any hassle? I thought Kia Joorabchian owned the rights to both players when they came to the Premiership?

Liverpool didn't buy Mascherano without any hassle; it took the club's lawyers months to sort out the unholy mess that Joorabchian and WHU had made.

West Ham released Mascherano from his contract but they claim they still hold Tevez' registration.

So it looks as though Tevez may finally get his wish to go to Man Utd. The whole thing still has "dodgy cover-up" written all over it.
No-one is fooled by calling it a loan - how can it be if West Ham are being paid £2m to release Tevez from his contract and registration? Unless of course he's being loaned from MSI? But that can't be right, 'cos West Ham said they owned him.....
Also, I thought the Premier League had "insisted" that West Ham should receive at least £6m? They can see a way out where they don't end up with egg on their faces, so they're keeping quiet....
