By blocking Kabba playing (I don't know why they were worried!!) for Watford against Shef Utd, they have broken the same rule applying to outside interference as West Ham.

How ironic! rofl

Its not quite the same though is it. A lot of that type of thing is going about, and trusting they were clever about it and only made it a 'gentlemans agreement' then there would be nothing contractual to punish them with.

Its happened before with a few players although im struggling to think of who - wasnt it the same with Rooney?

How have Sheffield United broken the rules? Kabba's contract was with Watford, so it's Watford's problem for agreeing to a contract that can be influenced by a third party.

I believe Watford may have had similar agreements for Matt Spring & Clarke Carlisle? There have been other cases involving Tim Howard & Andy Cole, and I don't see anyone rushing to investigate Man Utd?

To be fair, that was kinda my point. Its been done an awful lot in the past and nothing has come of it.

Latest: the Premier League are "investigating". After 6 months? Not much gets past them, does it?
What's next, an ultimatum? You drop your case and we'll drop ours? Wcensoredrs
