Thinking of going to see England play India, and was wondering what the better places are in Lords? Lots of tickets seem to be for sale in Compton stand.

Compton is behind the bowlers arm at the nursery end. I like the mound stand, which is sideways on and usually has a good atmosphere. The new Grandstand is cool as well. Compton and Edrich stands are open which can be a disadvantage if its v hot or wet. If you havent been before the atmosphere is fantastic, wherever you sit.

Just found this, its taken from the pavillion end. The Compton and Edrich stands are at the other end either side of the media centre. The mound is on the right with the sort of hats on top and the grandstand is the big stand on the left. This side of the mound is the old tavern stand which is also ok.

Cheers guys.

Tickets i've seen range from £95 each (Compton) to £225 each (Mound or Grandstand). Dunno what they were originally ie face value.
