cable tv fees for Premership?

Hello, I am living in Beijing. I was wondering how much the British viewers pay for cable TV Premership.

Over past several year I needed to pay around 20RMB(equivalent to 1 pound and 50p) monthly for my cable TV including several domestic sports channel one of which broadcasted Premership. I believe it was ESPN Asia that won the broadcast bid in Asia and then cooperated with Asian local TVs in a way that allowed the Asian viewers(China included)to watch Premership at a affoadable price.

However this year things changed. Another company won the broadcast bid. Apparently this company decided to abandon ESPN Asia's old way according the news. And it was reported that they were going to charge 188RMB(approximately 15 Pounds per month) for Premership alone! Plus viewers need to purchase a kind of top-up box which transmits the signal, something like that.

If that is true I have to stop watching Premership. It is just too much expensive for me. I have to switch to Seria A(extremely boring), German league(not as exciting as premership) and Spanish league(always at midnight).

Sky Sports have the Premiership here - about £30-£35 a month. Then some are on pay-per-view at £7.50 a time or so.

I pay £43.50 per month for the full SKY subscription which includes live premiership and all other sports as well as movies etc.. Excluded are any box office events which annoys me as the subscription is quite high. SKY sports alone with the minimum entertainment package is £34 per month.

It sounds like you have been getting a bargain.

U can get the premiership for free

plenty of websites do streaming ... if u find a decent 1 - it will cost u nothing
