Happy birthday Test Match Special - fifty years old!

They've just played that unforgettable clip of Johnners ( Brian Johnston ) and Aggers ( Jonathan Agnew ) corpsing after Aggers famous comment when Ian Botham was dismissed flukily in 1991. I defy anybody, cricket fan or otherwise, to listen to that clip without laughing and even Chris Hollins on the BBC had tears in his eyes listening to it.

TMS - quality broadcasting at its best. Happy birthday sir!!

I used to love it. John Arlott was my favourite. Johnners was great and used to take the piss out of Fred Trueman which was fun. I dont listen to it now unless I have to as I cannot stand that pompous snob Henry Blofeld.
