Sri Lankan sour grapes emerge
Discussion
The Sri Lankans are to raise the issue of Adam Gilchrist using a squash ball in his glove during the world cup. They see this as "against the spirit of the game".
This from the Country whose captain Arjuna Ranatunga once led his team off the field because he wouldn't accept the decision of an umpire (very in the "spirit of the game" ) and whose entire (relative) success has been built on the back of a bowler whose action is so wrong that the ICC had to change the rules to make it legal.

I think its doubly disappointing because a) its just silly and b) as the article points out Gilchrist is a very sporting player. He even walks ffs!
what if he had nicked the first ball and got out for zip ??!!
I think SL got the worst of the game but they don't need to resort to this to make themselves feel better.
What about when Tony Greig came out with a bike helmet on way back ?
it didn't make him hit the ball any better but it did give him the confidence to play some audacious shots without the fear of getting killed
get over it SL, you lost fair and square and to accuse Gilly of all the criminals in the side is just silly
