what a come back by Selby - thought Higgins would have finished him off early on in the evening session!

Yup, love the game! I even went to the crucible (from KENT!!) to see Murphy vs Trump in the first round - amazing experience!

Thought it was a great final. Didn't see as much of it as I would have liked (spent the weekend in Isle of Man so lots of driving and getting home was needed) but was very surprised how much Selby came back; 12-4 at one point I think it was.

John Higgins was, at many times, looking very worried but he is a real class act (saw him at the masters in '06 - great to see). Selby is one to watch for the future? Let's see....he COULD go on to great things, but equally it wouldn't be unheard of for a great tournament from a qualifier to then fade into 3xnumberxranking obscurity.

I just tried to get odds on Trump winning in 2009 or 2010. Can't find any online. Worth a flutter though?

worth a tenner, that's for sure yes

He's 17 now - so 2 or 3 yrs away, maybe 4 or 5, a high possibility. You probably wouldn't get good odds on Selby winning in the next few years though, he seems to have "come of age".
