What a performance from our boys! Always fancied us once Agger had scored! Twice Kuyt was unlucky with the offside and hitting the bar, so it was only fitting that he scored the winning penalty!
I don't really care who we get in the final, but after the Manc Scum robbed us at Anfield, i'd love to give them a good kicking in the final!!

If Raffles is a God, what is Ferguson?
The scousers always bang on about their history. They drone on forever about Liverpool's great history, the 18 and 5, the 37 trophies in total. No one can deny that they do have a great history behind them. But that's just where it is, behind them.
How about a more relevant test: the history in terms of trophies, Liverpool v Manchester United, since the Premiership was launched? Approximately 15 years of history, so perhaps a tad more relevant than this ritual trawl back to the pre 1990 era, when Liverpool were a good side.
Premiership Winners:
Manchester United 8 - 0 Liverpool
Premiership Runners-Up:
Manchester United 2 - 1 Liverpool
FA Cup Winners:
Manchester United 4 - 2 Liverpool
FA Cup Runners-Up:
Manchester United 2 - 1 Liverpool
League Cup Winners (Plastic trophy for plastic treble):
Manchester United 0 - 3 Liverpool
League Cup Runners-Up:
Manchester United 3 - 1 Liverpool
European Cup Winners:
Manchester United 1 - 1 Liverpool
UEFA Cup:
Manchester United 0 - 1 Liverpool (did ManU ever enter this competition during this period?)

History? So your in the Champions League Final then?
Rafa is doing a good job.
To win the league takes years to build a side to do so unless you spend £300 million over night aka Chelsea.
Sir Alex didn't win much if I remember in his first few seasons? Since then he has done a great job playing good football. However the real test of any manager at the top of his game is Europe, and sadly Sir Alex hasn't enjoyed similar levels of success there.
Would have been great to have a liverpool v man utd final but sadly not to be.

What an interesting concept, history being 'behind' us. Wow, grab yourself a cookie

Hardly a mistake that you've chosen to highlight Man Utd's most successful period is it?
Well, why beat about the bush - lets go for most recent history; say, the last 3 years...?
Congratulations on winning The Premiership. Excellent achievement with players like Brown, Carrick, Evra, Fletcher and Silvestre in the team

The period in question is the period since the Premiership began. Seems reasonable. I could have gone back to 1989/90, when Liverpool last won the League. It would have made no difference to the League stats.
The scouse fraternity now refer to the PL as the qualifying competition for the Champions League. I'd sooner win the PL every year than the ECL once in a while. You cannot win the PL on penalties.

You've hardly won the EPL every year - the last time was four years ago, in which time we've won the premier most competition in Europe for the fifth time.
So, which would I prefer; a possible 2 CL's or a single EPL title? I'm happy with our situation

How many year that Fergie been manager of Man Utd for to win all that title? and how many title did he won for them in his first 3 years?

No chance, Andy. You haven't won anything yet this year (as per United). How can you be happy with not winning the Premiership in 17 years and having won the Champions leaugue once in that 17 year period ?
Granted, you might win it this year but the competition has become diluted compared to the days of old when you won it in its 'proper' format.
You're kidding yourself if you're happy with the situation at Liverpool at the moment.
How can a club the size of Liverpool be satisfied with the lame attempts at winning the Premiership every year (except your 2nd place a few seasons ago) ?
The Premiership doesn't lie - over a season, its a true reflection of who the best team is in this country.
If you're happy to win cups every other season in knock out competitions, fair enough.
Its the Premiership you really want and need. You know that.

At no point have I said that I'm happy about not winning The Premiership. What I did say, was that I would prefer to win a possible two Champions Leagues to a possible single Premiership. Two totally different things

Lazy, you're trying to preach to the converted. IIRC on each of the two occasions you've won the CL you haven't even been Champions of your home league, unlike us on 4 of the 5 occasions we have won
So, in essence, if you'd prefer the 'proper' format, you'd not have won the CL to our 4 times. You choose...

I'm very happy thanks We're hardly living a pauper's life having won The Champions League, The FA Cup, The League Cup, The European SuperCup and The Community Shield in the last 3 years
