Well, I know he has his 'haters' and I know a fair few of them post on here.

However, he's done something that hasn't been done for 30 years.

PFA Player of the year

AND

Young player of the year.

Ronaldo

Put your scarves and loyalty to one side for a minute, this lad deserves it.

Awesome. yes

Gorvid is entitled to his opinion.

If the blades were in a shock swoop to buy the boy tomorrow morning, I think he'd be more than happy.

I think he's a great footballer myself. I hope Wolves sign him up when we get promoted next season. I know he has a contract with Manchester United but i'm sure he'd be interested in coming to Molineux.

As long as Kights is fit he'll be warming the bench.

He's not a bad player and for some reason he's able to beat defenders with the same trick every time. However, for me I will never be able to appreciate his talent, as he is one of the worst cheats in the game.

I have to agree, he has been the best player in the prem this year, but, hes got one of those smug faces you just want to punch a thousand times.
Still cant get over what happened in Germany last summer with the cheating ccensored. mad furious

That's so spot on of yesterdays performance, quite embarrassing at times.

The PFA Player of the year is voted for by the players themselves so fair enough, he's just who I would have voted for, as an individual he's pretty good but as a team player I don't think I'd want him. He's also miles off the talent that Ronaldinho and Zidane have shown us over the years.

Yeah, right, so we've had three years of Cristiano and err.... how many of the other has beens?

Ronaldo will be right up there in the pantheon of the greats. He's only what, 22?

Only time will tell but personally I don't think he'll ever be alongside the likes of Zidane and Ronaldinho, so much more to Ronaldinho's game than just the odd step over or trick and the same with Zidane.

What say you to us coming back here to this thread in five years time to re-assess this?

He's already wearing the Red 7 shirt in the manner to which it has become accustomed and WILL be up there with the likes of Best, Robson, Cantona, Beckham to name but four.

There is no doubting the guy has talent and I think all the stick he's had this season from opposing fans has spurred him on.

Personally I, like many others, cannot forget his cheating in the world cup against England. Unfortunately it has become part of the game for many players but this is no excuse. Can you imagine John Terry, Zidane, Cantona or any of the other true "greats" behaving like that?

At the end of the day the guy is a talent and a cheat....

Yeah sure it's the only way, we need to give him time, just remember that I'm right on this one even if everyone else disagrees. Wasn't alot of Beckham's best stuff done when he was early 20's and can you give Giggs the 7 for a couple of years?
