Anybody actually trate this guy at all? Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. He's a sort of Darren Fletcher type player. I don't rate Fletcher at all.

He had some very good performances in the World Cup - about the only player who did shine.

My opinion of him improved for the better last year!

Need to watch the german league to rate the player really. Mind you he can be that bad as he's always in the Bayern Munich line up.

Exactly. Good performances for England and gets into one of the best teams in Europe sums it up for me, would be interested to see him in the Prem though.

yes Before the World Cup I'd thought he can't be as bad as some of his England performances made out. First choice for Bayern means your not a bad player. After the World Cup it was good too see folk eating humble pie for declaring him as crap when they'd only seen 2 or 3 games of his career so far.
I don't think he'll fill the hole Roy Keane vacated (which hasn't really been filled) but still think he's got the right sort of quality to be a Man Utd player. I'd happily see him play at my team (Newcastle).

I don't think Sire Fergie would so patient waiting, hoping to buy another Darren Fletcher, as said, best English player in the world cup and showed his class in some of the matches in the German league that I saw.

Just hope he has good fitness, the other thing as a bonus for England if he does go to Man U is that his game can only get better, Fergie does seem to get the best out of the majority of players he recruits.
