If your'e referring to the rugby I concur. thumbup

Great performance from everyone, especially Rees, Tindall and Corry in the forwards and Flood and Strettle in the backs. Great to see the likes of Strettle, Flood and Geraghty coming through. Bodes well.

Of course! Awesome stuff. Would be down the pub getting wrecked now if it wasn't for work.

We made sooo many silly mistakes though, thought Tindall had a poor match until the end, then he definitely made up for it!

Superb stuff.

Can you belive the student union bar closed at 6, for some Christian Union thing. We had to walk a whole ten minutes to find another pub.

Thought his defence was good. Everyone looked nervous 1st half, including Catt.

I'm a bit biased re Tindall as he's in my fantasy team.

Is it only me who has noticed how shocking Lewsey has been of late? Very shakey and yet he's always in the team.

No, he was awful. Kept running down blind alleys, and showed only glimpses of past brilliance. I have to say, Jason Robinson is guilty of the same thing - he is no longer the force he was, and defences have worked him out. JSD is injured again, isn't he? If not, he should replace JR on the left wing. There are also plenty of other far more potent and unpredictable wings around who should wear the 11 shirt. Perhaps time to dust off Tom Varndell again and give him a run.

The back row was excellent. rees and Eater mad huge contributions, but Worsley should give way to Lund for more balance and speed to the breakdown. We don't need three "hard yards" merchants, we need Lund's speed and athleticism to breakdowns and kick-offs.

Would like to see JSD when he's fit... If ever! But in the meantime I'd switch Josh Lewsey and Jason Robinson, I do think defences have sussed Robinson, and he may have lost half a yard, but from full back carving different angles he would still be really dangerous. Lewsey had a bit of an iffy one yesterdau but I still think he's worth his place. Varndell is s difficult one, very quick going forward but his defence is suspect and not sure how good he would be when turned. One for the future, yes, but not yet.

Before having a go at Robinson, please see how many try's he has scored so far. Pretty important for a rugby winger. I still think Jason offers a lot a well worth his place. Lewsey hasn't played that well thus far but i can see no other real option at 15 who is better than he is. Balshaw is pathetic, Morgan is injured. Cueto i think would make a good 15 and i reckon he will be playing 15 for Sale for a while. Could be interesting

Definately do not want to be seeing Farrell in an England union shirt again.

why not. He hasn't done anything wrong. He was nearly fautless in the Irish game in defense and with a pack going backwards how was he going to do anything in attack. Especially with Tindall outside him. Have a quick 13 and you'll see a big difference
I think Farrell has progressed well and is deff the man for 12 at the world cup.

Don't waste your time. Most people just regeritate information they have read in the papers without actually watching the game properly and having their own opinion.

Your right Farrell did nothing wrong and progressed well. I'm sure the current management will have more patience than most of the lazy journalists.

Well it doen't look like it'll be an issue this week as he's staying with Sarries for the Wales game.

I thought he looked uncomfortable with the ball and all he seemed to do were the League drills - running straight at the defensive line and going to ground. The France game showed how offloading in the tackle you can cover more ground, create space and scoring opportunites. I don't think this is something that Farrell will do anytime soon. And for a league guy, I wouldn't expect to see him miss tackles like he did against Ireland.

Apart from his leadership qualities, I can't see what he will bring to England.

Let me know your thoughts!

I'll leave it to Shaun Edwards to explain with his comments below which i 100% agree with.

the first half it was much too lateral and there was obviously a half-time rethink, but the resulting pattern had a few kinks of its own. Farrell and Mike Tindall got up faster but, as happened in the first half, the wings lagged 10 yards back - more in the pattern of a sevens defence, something with which David Strettle is comfortable.

I'm not having a go at the young Harlequins wing. I'm a great fan and he did at least get over the Irish line - from a Farrell cut-out pass. Farrell may be newish to the game and still learning but take a good look at the video. He was virtually error-free and was one of our better performers. But for now he's too easy a target for the old brigade.
