Did anyone watch his heat today, falls over, ets up, runs the wrong way around the track turns around and chases the others. Still manages to qalify. Awesome
Didn't see it, but I remember seeing him run at the National Cross Country at Luton when he was about 12. He must have won by 2 minutes in a 15 minute race - bloody quick lad.
Was an impressive effort to qualify after the fall. Unsurpisingly he then struggled in the final but isn't concentrating on the indoor season. The World XC Champs are in Kenya at the end of the month and he's focused on that. Hopefully he'll be the leading European and will grab some African scalps too.
Great run by Mo at the World XCs on Saturday - he came 10th, first non-African runner in conditions that got the better of many talented athletes including 5-time champion Bekele.
