Good idea, i'll be in. Looking through the list though its dissapointing to see James Hook can only be selected as a 10, when it looks like he'll play 12 for Wales

Balancing the team was difficult. Had to drop Brian O'Driscoll in the end.

I've gone for Andy Farrell. Risky?

If Farrell plays it will be a good selection, as he could probably be the goal kicker. Between hom and Flood. It does look like he will play though. With Cueto, Sackey and Robinson leaving England training to go back their clubs through Injury, and Ashton saying he wont be calling anyone else up (not even James Simpson-Daniel or Morgan for some reason), the England backline is starting to pick itself

9 Perry/Richards
10 Flood
11 Lewsey
12 Farrell
13 Tindall
14 Tait
15 Balshaw

(in fact you could swap the back 3 round into an positions)

Being a Welshman I am happy to see the English backs, poor and one dimensional sums it up

4th or worse for the red rose this year I thinks

I think that backline is ok. Balshaw at full back is my only realy worry. Farrell has been playing seriously well all season at Sarries and showing some class vision. Tindall is back to his 03/03 best. Tait and Lewsey are good wingers. Flood is a talented player, just hope he can deal with the pressure. Ellis could even get a recall at 9, been playing great for the tigers since he has returned.

Although i would have rather have seen.

9 Ellis
10 Geraghty
11 Lewsey
12 Farrell
13 Tait
14 James Simpson Daniel
15 Morgan

As good as anything in Europe the above backline.

England to lose one game and finish 2nd or 3rd.
Wales's season depends on the very first game against Ireland

yikes
Absolutely. That's assuming you're not counting the Welsh, Irish and French back lines, naturally.
Lewsey aside (who's Welsh in any case ), how many of the above have done anything even remotely of any note in international rugby (union)?

Welsh back with the exception of Hook, Thomas and Peel are vastly over-rated. The Irish backs are currently the best in Europe, but some are getting on and not too many player coming though in key positions. French backs should be the best in the world, but they are French so have no consistancy.

The above English backline is seriously young. Morgan, Tait, Geraghty under 23, Ellis, JSD under 26, Farrell has two seasons and Lewsey will retire after the World Cup. Good job we have Anthony Allen and Tom Varndell to replace them. My comment should have read 'will be as good as anything in Europe'

In all honesty Wales have shown nothing since their Grand Slam, and it was truly embarrasing watching the Wales vs NZ game. Wales are a good team but they were never as good as the Welsh thought/think they are/were.

Lewsey is not Welsh, he is English. If you play that game you can go through every team in the world and name the 'foreign' players. Pointless

I have never rated the likes of Tindall or Balshaw.

Too easy to figure out, no suprise in what they will try to do.

I really don't think it compares to other backlines in Europe

Ireland
Stringer, O'Gara, Darcy, O'Driscoll, Horgan, Trimble, Murphy

Wales
Peel, Hook, Henson, shanklin, M.Jones, S.Williams, Alfie/Kev Morgan
