Yeah this has been signposted for a while and I guess was why the Dlophins cheerleaders were in the SKY studios a while back. Its good stuff but will Wembley be ready?

Whilst I like the idea of seeing 'proper' NFL games here rather than the 'friendly' American Bowl games that we used to get at Wembley, I wonder what the fans in the US make of all this? As it is, it's little more than a marketing ploy and I know that if my footy team decided to play home games away from Exeter just to 'spread the word', I'd be pretty cheesed off about it, especially as the season over there is only about half a dozen or a dozen home games anyway.

Yeah they only get 8 in the regular season. And as this is a Miami "home game" IIRC it means they will only get 7 as Miami have been pretty poor this season and on that form are unlikely to make the playoffs next year. But they hope to get a massive extra tv audience and the NFL is driven by TV income....

Can't help but have a bit of a giggle to myself. There was much mockery at beckhams arrival in the US due to footy not being overly popular, and now they are trying to make American Footy popular back home? very giggleworthy!

Well, I'm going to watch out for tickets, and I'm not a Dullphins fan. Guess it makes me just another sucker for the marketing guys

Perhaps we ought to have the Superbowl here instead. I mean, it'll be an unfair advantage if it happens to be at one of the team's home ground, plus it must be like having the FA Cup Final at Liverpool one year, MU the next, then Newcastle etc etc. Much better if they held one over here, plus we wouldn't have to sat up until 4am watching it either....

Dolphins v Niners now that would be Superbowl 19 all over again and repeat a very early Amercan Bowl. Doubt it though as they will probably bring 2 east coast sides over!

Anyway, I shall certainly be there! Maybe even dig out my Monarchs shirt!
