"Barmy Army Adventure - Saturday @ 20.15, Sunday @ 19.00, Monday - Wednesday @ 20.00.
(New and Exclusive to ITV4) Cricket mad Aussie Gus Worland, who has lived in England for nearly 20 years, is challenged by his mate, actor Hugh Jackman, to follow the Barmy Army from England to Australia and around the country for all five Ashes test matches. His mission is to infiltrate the group, find the colourful characters, and investigate what makes these fans turn from everyday people into ranting, raving, singing lunatics."

Just thought i'd let you know about this, saw an preview of it and it looked alright.

Definitely worth a watch this! They had it on tv in Oz following each test and the guy certainly took all the banter well. Not sure if the PH shirt makes an appearance or the "Bennett Tours" flag so keep an eye out for them.

On New Years Day we watched the Barmy Army v Fanatics in a 20/20 match which got filmed. Was quite amusing to see the slip cordon including wicket keeper, 2 slips, camera man, sound man and cable carrier.

Completely forgot about this. There must be a DVD coming out with all 5 tests on though with a load of extras such as the BA v Fanatics "Ashes" matches.

The Barmy Army machine is now bigger than I fully appreciated before going out. In almost every sport shop you could buy BA shirts, the arrangements required for bars, hotels, flights, tickets, buses, merchandising and on-tour events is quite amazing!
