Typical Australian response - bad winners, but were even worse losers last time around!
Sorry.. forgot std pom response number 5!
laugh it up pug, watch English cricket implode as it & what's left of it's supporters looks for excuses.
Fair dos but the English side is still a developing young side whereas the Aussies are (admittedly awesome) old crocks who are having an extended last-hurrah - there is a noteable question mark regarding real quality coming through, particularly to replace the likes of Warne and Mcgrath ( Stuart Clarke has been excellent but even he's 31) - England have a lot to be optimistic about as regards the future development of established young players and the quality of players coming through - Australia much less so. For England, lessons need to be learnt (and hopefully already have been) regarding positive selection decisions, preparation, captaincy and mental attitude but the basic quality and potential is definitely there - all this aussie arrogance and gloating expressed in ever greater degrees will just make eventual future victory all the sweeter and also indicates a definite insecurity with regard to the size of the average Australian penis
mind you, they certainly had bigger bollox than us in this series

I have a friend like this. He's reined it in now, but when we were growing up doing anything competitive with/against him was a real nightmare. If he won you got a barrage of "In your face... Blah, blah, blah..." and if he lost he got in almighty strop (I remember a particlarly spat dummy following a tough game of "blast chamber" on the PS). Took all the fun out of it. Amazing that an entire nation can be afflicted with the same problem.
Yeah but you have to look at their heritage. If all your ancestors were criminals you'd be a bit chippy too?
Also its common knowledge that a huge proportion of Australian men are batting for the pillow biters and those that arent are appalling lovers. Why do you think London is full of Australian women? One I spoke to said that back home the sophisticated Aussie blokes foreplay consisted of grunting "brace yourself Sheila" before collapsing on top of her.
No wonder the poor bastards feel that they need to crow over the slightest sporting victory.

And we were so graceful last year with a rack of useless OBEs and MBEs and an open top bus tour round london for just scraping a 2-1 victory in a 5 game cricket series at home with the help of some very dubious umpiring decisions.
Winning with grace is a dying quality, and sport is much the poorer because of it. Dignity and sportsmanship are all qualities that are dying out in sport, and I for one (sounding old fashioned) think it is a great shame.
Well done Australia, you played to win, you learned from previous mistakes, you dominated and ensured that you utilised all your available talent. Very impressive.
