So after Pardew getting the boot who has been the worst you can remember - Stevie Coppell at Man City maybe although he's done very well at Reading ...

George Graham for taking a bung ... Sven for just being crap etc.

I vote for David O'Leary. A constant whiner and moaner who blamed everyone but himself, earned loads of money, spent big money on players who he couldn't get to perform and got nowhere with two decent clubs. And who hopefully will remain out of his chosen profession for a long time.

Next ...

David platt! Took over at forest (when in the top league) spent millions on players (crap ones) spent millions on players wages then got us relagated! We are still in debt because off his wild spending & to top it off he is trying to sue forest for 50k for loss of earnings when they did finally sack the useless tw**.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Sven.

Should have got the boot after we got knocked out by Brazil in 2002.

Not only is he worse than useless, with no tactics at all, but he absolutely just took the piss the last few years.

I agree you'd go a long way to find worse than Sven but............

Step forward the FA - it was tough but they did it. They surpassed themselves and appointed Steve McLaren, a manager so poor he even lost the dressing room at lowly Middlesbrough.

Who was that player that Souness signed unseen for Southampton, supposedly on the advice of George Weah, and he could hardly kick a football? Didn't he send him on as a sub and have to pull him off again after a few mins? It was all a practical joke and Souness fell for it?

I think Newcastle could get a full 11 out on this, starting with Roeder, Souness, Guillit!!

Anyone remember the polish chap at Villa - Dr Venglos or something like that!!!!

Kevin Bond @ Bournemouth now!!

Graham Taylor, the man who gave international caps to Carlton Palmer & Geoff Thomas

John Sitton at Leyton Orient, see link below for the best half time team talk ever

Wasn't there a Dr Joseph Venglos (spelling?) who was also the manager of Celtic for a while. Wasn't it him that signed a Brazilian called Shiedt who the Rangers fans rather correctly pronounced censored. From what I remember he lived up to his name too.
Actually come to think of it, maybe it John Barnes who signed him? And there's another contender for crap manager! Probably couldn't read the autocue Kenny Dalglish was providing for him at the time.

He lived the dream hehe well, for half an hour or so.

Doesn't surprise me that Souness would sign him and then play him without ever apparently having seen him train though ... he must have been showed up in training surely?

Mind you, no different to Sven taking Walcott to the World Cup having never seen him play and then not playing him? confused

The more I think of it, the more I thnk Sven was *possibly* the worst Eng manager, worse than Graham Taylor. I know we qualified for everything while he at the helm (and then did sweet FA)but at least Taylor looked like he cared.
