Saw most of the game until Fred got bowled then decided I'd get an hours sleep in before work.

This one day game was meaningless and also quite pointless.

First two tests I'll be watching all night with my laptop to try and keep me company - then fly out there for the rest.

Top effort mate, you gotta post some pics from inside the grounds, I don't think its all doom either, if the team can get/stay fit then i don't think we will do too badly, may even win the series, but it will be a mighty scrap.

should we have an ashes thread?

Will do! We've got some tickets in the midst of The Fanatics sections of the grounds so expect some serious (borderline violent) abuse. Can't wait! MCG, Boxing Day, 120,000 capacity, cold beer, hot sun - does it get any better?
