Ski-ing / boarding and music?

Bit early to talk about ski-ing I know but I have just booked the eurostar to BSM and Val for New Year and I am counting the days off already.

Might even try and get out for a sneaky early weekend in December - watching the weather reports and praying for snow - boo hiss global warming.

Anyway what are your thoughts on music and the slopes?

I know that is a bad habit and cuts down your perception etc but surely there is nothing better than some good tunes whilst on the snow?
